Celebrating national ag day!
As Australians, we all enjoy the world class food and fibre grown right here in Australia. But some Australians know very little about the farmers and workers who put food on their tables.
National Agriculture Day is your chance to celebrate and learn about Australia’s incredible farm sector. Held on the third Friday of November each year, it’s one day to celebrate an industry that’s part of our lives – every single day.
On this Ag Day, we’re calling on all Australians to Stand with the Land. For the past year, our farmers have shown extraordinary grit, navigating record-breaking floods, devastating droughts, imperfect policies and trade disruptions. Stand with the Land is a powerful call to action that unites Australians in solidarity with our farmers and rural communities.

Get friends and family together for an AgDay lunch, BBQ or event. Register your event before 1 November and you'll receive some AgDay goodies to help you celebrate!

Submit your photo or video capturing what you love most about Australian agriculture and the theme "Grow you good thing!" for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

Through curriculum-aligned resources, PIEFA connects schools to the primary industries, educating students about food and fibre production and careers.
